Description

Adecco is currently recruiting for a General Manager to join one of Canadas largest and most successful retailers. We are looking for an experienced retailer with an eye for merchandising to achieve the greatest customer impact. Candidates must have at least 5 years of senior retail management experience with proven track record of the success in retail sales, execution and operations. Responsibilities for General Manager:
- Lead team to achieve targets in sales growth, retail execution, customer experience and profitability.
- Encourages and maintains a culture that values excellent customer experience to all customers through effective training, supervision, coaching and performance management.
- Respond to formal complaints in order to maintain customer loyalty at the highest possible level
- Recruits, develops, motivates and holds Management Team accountable to meet established objectives and targets for sales a profitability in their respective departments.

Requirements for General Manager:
- Minimum of 5 years in leadership or senior managerial role handling a large staff
- Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve common goals in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of retail and financial principles.
- Excellent knowledge of market trends and competition in the retail and automotive sectors.
- Proactive problem solving skills and ability to make ambiguous decisions.
- Ability to multitask, adapt and cope with challenging situations.
