Clifton Associates Ltd. (Clifton) is developing a Legal Survey Division within our existing Geomatics Department. We are looking for a Professional Land Surveyor (SLS or ALS certifiable) interested in joining our team to develop a new practice and augment our existing engineering survey department. This position can accommodate an intermediate or senior depending on expertise and leadership skills, and will work within the Geomatics department under the guidance of a Geomatics engineer
Clifton is an engineering, science, and technology company providing technical solutions to problems involving soil, rock, water, and air. Our company was formed in 1978 with two offices in Saskatchewan. It has since grown to a total staff exceeding 200, with offices in Regina, Saskatoon, North Battleford, Lloydminster, Calgary, and Edmonton.
Our staff includes engineers, geologists, scientists, and technologists with a wide range of skills, supported by geodetic quality GNSS and conventional survey equipment, modern full service materials testing laboratories, plus CAD and computing facilities.
The preferred candidate will hold an SLS and/or an ALS Commission with a minimum of five years experience in the Geomatics field and be capable of developing a Legal Survey Practice to augment our engineering practice:
- Candidate will participate in Business Development activities to secure new clients and provide legal survey services to existing clients.
- Candidate must be willing to train and mentor our existing survey staff, CAD staff, and engineers to upgrade their knowledge of the legal survey process.
- Candidate must work in conjunction with civil engineering and land development components of Clifton to create efficient and effective developments.
