Description

Reporting to the Managing Executive Director, you will set and guide the strategy for all marketing, communications and public relations to support the Museums mission, all the while fostering childrens creativity and curiosity, and setting them up for a lifelong love of learning.
Your strong writing skills and creative flair allow you to craft communications pieces that educate and inform the public about the organization, as well as support campaigns, special events and fundraising activities.
Utilizing strong organizational and planning skills, you develop an annual special events calendar to attract and engage diverse audiences with the Museum. Your knowledge of print and social media strategies and approaches enables you to deliver key messages through different platforms.
With a collaborative approach, you manage external agencies and develop strong media relations. You provide media training to the management team and volunteers to ensure they have the skills required to respond to effectively respond to media requests.
