PURPOSE OF THE JOB
You will be responsible for the sale of all products related to Radius Communications ( 91.3 FM Regina Community Radio) Business including, but not limited to:
Radio advertising
Website/podcast advertising
Sponsorship
New media
Fundraising Initiative as needed
You will achieve maximum sales profitability within Regina and/or market segment by effectively selling the CJTRs products and/or related services.
You will coordinate with the Sales Manager to personally contact and secure new business accounts/customers.
You will be an effective decision-maker, able to manage competing priorities under the time pressures of a broadcast organization, with the prestige and credibility to follow decisions through to successful task completion.
You will have superior skills at planning/organizing, while sustaining an environment that encourages personal and organizational growth.
You will be accountable and will be able to balance organizational, team and individual commitments within the context of CJTRs community and regulatory commitments and our traditions of quality and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Perform sales activities on accounts
Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth.
Provide quarterly results assessments.
Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities,
advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
