Immediate opening

The Town of Kindersley is commencing construction of a $6.5M indoor pool facility that will include both lap and leisure pools and which will be opening in the fall of 2018!

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and qualified aquatics professional to be part of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity - to be intimately involved in the building of the new facility, creating the entire aquatic team, and leading the development of the indoor pool programing.

You will have current aquatics qualifications and enjoy being in the water as much as the users.

Part of your position will be to support and enhance community development initiatives for Kindersley and the entire region through increasing awareness and participation in all forms of recreation programs and events.

As the lead aquatics person, you will provide strong leadership exemplified by exceptional customer service, and work closely with a variety of community stakeholders.

Required Knowledge and Education:
3-5 years of previous aquatic experience (lifeguard & instructor)
Knowledge of the operation of an aquatics facility and ability to obtain certification as a Level 2 Pool Operator
First Aid/CPR, Water Safety Instructor, National Lifeguard Certification
Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License
Strong background in customer service
Preference will be given to candidates with applicable post-secondary education, First Aid Instructors and NLS Trainers.
