Habitat for Humanity Regina is a non-profit organization that works to break the cycle of poverty through affordable homeownership for hard-working, low-income families. We are looking for a seasoned, enthusiastic and professional Project Manager to oversee all construction projects, warranty work and adherence to safety standards.
Reporting directly to the COO, this role will require you to have extensive project management knowledge. You will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, an adaptable personality and organizational skills that allow you to manage multiple projects. Your collaborative nature and drive for success will be integral to the continued growth and development of the organization.
Relevant education and a minimum 5 years experience in a project management and leadership role.
Demonstrated capabilities in supervising, training and mentoring staff
Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of construction and safety codes preferred.
Experience with tendering and negotiating contracts with trades.
Responsible for budgeting and reporting on status of project including costs, timelines and forecasting
Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities
Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities.
Periodic travel is required. Exposure to outdoor construction sites in all weather conditions. Require drivers abstract and criminal record check.
