Description

Possess a minimum of two (2) years experience in Lands Management or related certification.
Have experience with land acquisition, reserve creation, and land management, along with environmental assessments, ISC (Information Services Corporation) land title searches.
Adhere to land and environmental laws and regulations pertaining to the First Nation, Municipal, Provincial and Federal legislation.
Have the ability and skill to effectively negotiate land leases on behalf of the Kahkewistahaw 1907 Trust.
Possess excellent communication skills to effectively deal with patrons, band membership, Chief, Council and Trustees.
Be able to communicate effectively with written and oral reports to Kahkewistahaw 1907 Trustees and Trust Coordinator.
Possess the ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
Be willing to take on-going training that will be related to the position.
Have the ability to take direction and work with minimum supervision.
Possess the knowledge of effective office procedures, techniques and data processing.
Possess strong computers skills and knowledge of pertinent software programs.
Be well organized, punctual, dependable and reliable.
Possess a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
Submit a criminal records check.
The successful applicant will provide a report indicating you are free of any prohibited drug, certified by a member in good standing of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan, within 2 weeks of the date on the employment acceptance letter.
