Live out your passion for local food by selling greenhouse-grown vegetables at the Regina Farmers' Market.
Floating Gardens is a family owned and operated hydroponic greenhouse located 25 kms north of Saskatoon. (The position we're hiring for is in Regina, SK.) We sell over 25 different vegetable crops to farmers' markets and restaurants in Saskatoon and Regina and have created a reputable brand that many in our province recognise.
We are seeking a passionate individual for a part time position at the Regina farmers' market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The stall runs outside until Thanksgiving and will move indoors after that.
The Farmers Market Salesperson is responsible for all market duties including:
-Driving market van
-Picking up product from a courier every market morning
-Setting up and taking down for market
-Depositing float at the end of market day
-Selling products and delivering customer service
Qualifications Include:
-Bondable, as you will be responsible for our float
-Drivers License (Class 5)
-Able bodied, must be able to lift approx 30 lbs.
-good with people
-passionate about food is a bonus
Position begins August 18th, 2017 and will end around Christmas 2017.
Phone Interviews will begin August 16th, 2017.
