Food counter attendants perform some or all of the following duties:
Take customer's order
Prepare food such as fresh cut fries, hot dogs, poutine, and beverages such as pop, milk, water and juices
Portion and place food into cups and place onto trays in a food court or in bags for takeout orders
Serve customers at the front counter
Stock refrigerators and condiments
Receive payment for food items purchased by cash, debit, Visa or Mastercard
Keep store clean, wash dishes, and remove trash from the premises
