Description

Tait Kitchen Centre is searching for self-motivated, hardworking individual to join our hard working and experienced team as a Cabinet Service Technician. For over 30 years Tait Kitchen Centre has been a leader in their field and their name has become synonymous with fine quality cabinetry, outstanding customer service and satisfaction. Successful candidate will be a self-starter who is customer focused and demonstrates an unsurpassed work ethic.
Responsibilities
    Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
    Work responsibly without supervision - complete the scope of work during assigned hours.
    Communicate with other technicians, customer service rep, project managers, and site personnel.
    Manage all onsite repair, maintenance and tasks in the service order paper work.
    Follow all Tait Kitchen Centres procedures, processes, and checklists.
    Diagnose all problems and determine proper solutions.
    Produce timely and detailed service reports.
    Occasionally assist with cabinet installation and cabinet construction.
Qualifications
    Demonstrate an enthusiastic attitude with ability to explain procedures and solve on site problems.
    Experience in kitchen or other service work.
    Ability to work independently, efficiently and punctual.  
    Good verbal and written communication skills.
    Experience in cabinet design, building, or installation considered an asset.
    Knowledge and use of small to medium sized power tools. Including, but not limited to: miter saws, table saws, drills, vacuums, cutting tools, etc.
    A criminal record check is required.
    Must have a valid drivers license and provide a drivers abstract upon request.
