Description

Our client, Investors Group Securities Inc., is seeking a Securities Planning Specialist for its Regina location.

The Securities Planning Specialist supports the Consultant in the management of client relationships by providing securities advisory services for clients and prospects. Well versed in client portfolio analysis and trade advice, the Securities Planning Specialist promotes, communicates, and assists in the training of consultants on investment products and services.

The Role:

Provide portfolio analysis and client review services, individual securities research, and trade advisory services;
Assist Consultants in their meetings with clients/prospects;
Assist Consultants to remain in compliance with the regulatory environment by providing securities trade advice and services;
Ensure client suitability criteria are met and internal trade policies are adhered;
Conduct Regional Office training, pro-shops, seminars or communication sessions as warranted or in conjunction with Head Office offerings;
Travel within an assigned territory on a regular basis.


You and Your Experience:

You have 5 years in the finance industry providing client portfolio analysis, account management, and trade advice.
You have a valid Securities License with Securities Commission(s)  Registered Representative/Investment Advisor category.
You have post-secondary education; other securities industry credentials such as Chartered Investment Manager, Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Analyst, or Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, is considered an asset.
You have strong computer literacy; Thompson Reuters system knowledge and experience is an asset.
You have excellent interpersonal skills and team services ethics.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You have strong presentation skills.
You are highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Being an IRROC Registrant is considered an asset.
