Description

Reporting to the President and Board of Directors, the position is responsible, in collaboration with the President, staff, and volunteers, for planning and promoting awareness for Clients.  Our Mission, is to educate and advocate for the protection and rights of children and youth.  This role is responsible for developing strategies and providing expertise to coordinate all fundraising activities and third-party events and the identification of new fund development initiatives to meet the needs of this amazing Organization.

The selected candidate will;
Enhance and execute fund-development initiatives in the Province
Work with the community to build solid foundational relationships
Inspires & implements volunteer commitment
Finds pro-active sponsorship of programs and events
Identifies and reaches out to potential fundraising opportunities through grants, corporate or small businesses, and individual donors.
Recruits new corporate donors & develops customized stewardship strategies.
Provides motivation, coaching, and training, goal setting and development opportunities to all staff and volunteers.
Is comfortable with presenting and speaking to audiences to promote awareness of the organization's mission.
