Needed: Home Support Worker for Senior Female
NOC Code: 4412
Employment Terms: Full Time Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare meals and special diets including shopping for food
Assist with personal care such as bathing, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing
Assist to and from doctors appointment including managing medications
Assist with life management including shopping, banking and coordinating personal schedule
Assist and accompany to and from social events and recreational activities
Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, making beds and cleaning
Perform other related duties as required
Working Hours: 8 hours/day, 44 hours/week, 2 days off on weekends
Wage: $16.61/hour
Work Setting & Location:
In a private home in Saskatoon, SK
Recipient of care is an 89 year old female in advanced state of frailty with associated cognitive impairment who requires a caregiver on a live-in basis. Accommodation is available to the caregiver at NO CHARGE.
Employment Requirements:
Education: Secondary school education is required
Work Experience: At least 6 months experience with elderly, demented individuals is required.
Drivers license is an asset but not required
