Description

Title: RCY Caseworker
Reports to: RCY Coordinator
Based at: Street Culture Project, and Community
Hours: 35-40 hrs/week. Flexible hours. 3-month probation and review

Job Purpose:
Regina Connected Youth is a Street Culture Project program that focuses on reintegration and community connection of youth at-risk of gang activity or with involvement in the justice system. This program was created through a partnership between Street Culture Project and the Ministry of Justice, and aims to provide participants with pro-social activities and one-on-one mentorship as needed.

You will be working closely with and providing services to youth involved with SCP through the RCY project in a Caseworker capacity. You will help meet the contractual standards of RCY and ensure its success through one-on-one mentorship and group programming. You will liaise with Justice workers and be a front-line contact for government workers. You will also be a key community liaison with the youth themselves and other stakeholders in the youths lives, including but not limited to: parents/guardians, teachers, healthcare professionals etc. Reporting on youth progress and administration will also be required. Caseworkers will work closely with the Case Manager and Coordinator of the project to ensure that deliverables are met.
