Our client has an immediate full-time permanent opportunity available for an Agronomist


Responsibilities:
    Effectively provide customer support and expert advice on crop nutrition, crop protection, soil test interpretation, field scouting, diagnostics, and product recommendations
    Successfully build customer loyalty and trust by adding value and providing sound agronomic advice and solutions to growers
    Responsible for assisting with the management and delivery of crop nutrition products, crop protection products and services
    Successfully develop Business plans for key customer accounts
    Effectively help to promote and expand the fertilizer, seed, and crop protection sales in our trading area.
    Responsible for identifying specific grower needs and provide expert advice, products and services for new and existing customers
    Successfully achieve sales targets by making sales calls, applying expert product knowledge to address specific needs of the customer


Qualifications:

    University/College degree or diploma in Agriculture or related discipline and major in Agronomy is considered an asset
    Agriculture or Agribusiness background, interest, and aptitude
    Valid Class 5 Drivers license with clean drivers abstract is an asset
    Effective knowledge of the crop input business and the agronomic practices used by the growers in our area
    Be flexible in work hours throughout the busy season (May-June)
