Our client has an immediate full-time permanent opportunity available for a Buyer for a manufacturing firm.


Responsibilities/Qualifications:  

-Responsible for purchasing of raw materials, parts and supplies for production based on manufacturing schedules, cost and quality objectives, as well as vendor negotiations
-Effectively utilize ERP and MRP systems to carefully track and verify that all production needs are met
- Conduct domestic and international sourcing to set up new and secondary vendors
- Proficient computer skills (such as, keyboarding, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook) are required and exposure to ERP, MRP or manufacturing database software is an asset
- Excellent communication skills required and address issues in a timely manner so production is not affected in any manner
