Duties and responsibilities:
- Assisting with recruiting process such as posting job ads, responding to candidates inquiries, scheduling interviews, screening job applications, conducting reference checks.
- Keeping applicant tracking system up-to-date and all applicants files in order.
- Coordinating with overseas agents and assisting with international recruitment campaigns.
- Corresponding with clients and applicants.
- Providing settlement support to the applicants.
- Supporting marketing efforts (assistance with web-site development, trade shows and social media campaigns).
- Developing recruiting brochures and presentations.
- Typing drafts/letters/documents as instructed.
- Providing general office support.
Job requirements and our expectations:
- You must be well organized and detail-oriented.
- You are a quick leaner, can work in a fast-paced environment, can multi-task and handle stress.
- Advanced computer user (Power Point, Excel). If you have experience in working with any HR\recruitment database and have some knowledge of Word Press, Photoshop/Corel Draw, Mail Chimp, this would be an asset.
- Our ideal candidate will have agricultural background or experience in agri-business in Western Canada or experience in human resources, foreign recruitment and immigration, or marketing.
- If you immigrated to Canada yourself or familiar with TFWP or SINP, this would be an asset.
- If you speak any other languages such as French, Spanish, Ukrainian or Afrikaans, this would be an asset as well.
