Apex Valve Services in Regina, SK has an immediate opening for an Experienced Senior Valve Technician. As a Senior Valve Technician you will be responsible for working in both the valve repair shop as well as in the field on customer sites for the purpose of repairing and servicing Pressure Safety Valves (PSVS) and other equipment.
Successful applicants must possess the following:
At least 2 years experience in disassembly/assembly, inspections, testing and troubleshooting of valves such as PSV, Ball, Gate, Globe, Check & Plug valves.
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and other employees.
Be mechanically proficient.
Able to work out of town for short periods from time to time.
** PSV service experience would be considered an asset. **
Attention to safety, quality and detail is an absolute must in this position.
The successful applicant will have current safety training including H2S, First Aid and be able to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
