Maison Design+Build is seeking a design professional to join their talented team. This is a full-time, permanent, position.

Responsibilities:
-Detail exterior elevations, select materials, and draw construction details
-Apply for permits and approvals
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues prior to construction
-Detail building envelope best practices and standards
-Review electrical, mechanical and technology drawings to resolve issues
-Provide best practice management
-Issue packages, review and approve supplier shop drawings, write specifications, produce field drawings, provide framing details
-Model and render design ideas
-Order and coordinate the delivery of building materials and provide trades with details required for construction (window ros, beam pocket sizes, telepost locations, etc.)

Experience and Qualifications:
-Strong leadership and design skills
-5+ years in the construction industry
-A diploma from a recognized school in Architectural or Interior Design Technology
-Registered with the Saskatchewan Association
-Proficiency in AutoCad, Microsoft Office and Adobe Design Suite
-Experience creating design and construction documents
-Knowledge of building code, Section 9
-Solid knowledge of building assemblies, design and construction detailing
-Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
-Self-motivated, diligent, and client focussed
-Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
-Attention to detail and ability to read and interpret drawings
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English
-Valid work status in Canada
-Experience working in the context of multidisciplinary project teams
