Description

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resource Planning the Human Resource Planning Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all human resources inquiries.  The position provides support to the Human Resources team through the coordination of various human resource services including recruitment, on-boarding and orientation and documentation of new employees, training, HR file system maintenance, reporting, special projects and other general administrative support.  The Coordinator provides excellent customer service and communicates effectively with all operational departments, developing and cultivating strong working relationships to support Evraz Places high performance culture. The position is responsible for maintaining confidentiality of human resource information and for coordination of electronic and manual record keeping. The Human Resources Planning Coordinator will also support corporate HR initiatives, assisting with policy and procedure revisions, implementing new processes and procedures and implementation of new programs, etc.
Education and Experience:
Grade twelve (12) education supplemented by office education certificate/diploma or a combination of relevant training and experience.
Strong administrative experience in a high paced environment.
Experience working in Human Resources in a similar function.

Ability to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines.
Proven ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
Attention to detail and the ability to independently exercise good judgment
