Reporting to the Manager, Box Office and Cash Operations and under the supervision of the Box Office Supervisor and Coordinator, this position is responsible for completing all transactions in the Brandt Centre Box Office including but not limited to ticket sales, cash operations and merchandise activities in various locations throughout Evraz Place as required.
This position will largely focus on supporting our merchandise staff requirements and cash operations during the evening hours and/or event days
Education and Experience:
Grade twelve (12) education or a combination of relevant education, training and experience may also be considered.
Several years experience in providing excellent customer service.
Experience handling cash and processing transactions with credit cards.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of computers.
Proficiency in basic math skills, with the ability to manually calculate sales transactions.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs using proper lifting techniques.
Other:
Must be 19 years of age.
Available to work variety of shifts (days, evenings, weekends and holidays) as required based on event bookings.
