The person in this role will take the lead on planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of our Renovation department. The Operations Manager will be responsible for formulating policies and procedures, managing daily operations, planning the use of materials and budget management. In addition, he/she will identify and manage priorities to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded. The Operations Manager will also conduct analysis to support a variety of planning and performance management tasks advancing recommendations/options for consideration. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must be well organized, a problem solver, results driven, and have the ability to multi task with ease.
Requirements:
Proven experience in business operation and management;
Extensive knowledge of residential and commercial building codes and regulations;
5-10 years of previous residential, commercial or renovation involvement in the Construction/Housing Industry;
Experience in customer service and sales is a significant asset;
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes;
Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products;
Outstanding organizational, attention to detail and coordination abilities;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
