The YMCA of Regina is looking for a Business Administrator for the our Harbour Landing Childcare Centre. The BA is an onsite leader who will focus on the business requirements of a 90 space child care centre. The BA is required to have an understanding and skills in business practices, to provide leadership and to ensure business success, legislation compliance, employee recruitment and selection, performance management and client satisfaction. The BA reports to the Senior Director of Childcare Operations and works closely with the HL Program Director, Director of Childcare Administration and Centre directors for all YMCA Locations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Manages the day to day business operations of a childcare centre.
Employee recruitment, selection and training in accordance to YMCA policies and procedures
Understands and complies with Ministry of Education legislation and licensing requirements
Assist in the development and tracking of the budget.
Interact and communicate with families, including initial registration, collecting fees and ensuring satisfaction.
Ensures YMCA Child Protection policies are adhered to.
Any other duties required by Senior Director of Childcare Operations
Requirements
Business certificate, diploma or degree
1-3 years of relevant experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team.
