Watrous New Holland is one of the leading suppliers of New Holland agricultural equipment in Saskatchewan. We are currently seeking Agriculture / Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics to be part of our dynamic team. The successful candidate(s) will possess the relevant trade certification and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in this field.
Watrous New Holland Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics will perform, but are not limited to, the following duties:
1. Reconditioning and repairing of all engines, transmissions, tractors and other varieties of outdoor power equipment as assigned by the shop manager.
2. Handling of customer service and problems in a polite and tactful manor.
3. Reassemble machines and equipment following repair; test operation; and make adjustments as necessary.
4. Record details of repairs made and parts used.
5. Maintains a clean and tidy work area, free of all possible hazards.
Skills and Knowledge:
1. Understand new information or materials by studying and working with them.
2. Identify ways to measure and improve system performance.
3. Develop rules or follow guidelines when arranging items in a certain order.
4. Knowledge of using, and repairing machines and tools.
5. Knowledge of providing special services to customers based on their needs.
Hand tools and personal safety equipment will be up to the individual to supply.
