Job Description: The Officer, Contracts works with a dynamic, fast paced team to coordinate contract implementation and administration, as well as contract database updates and maintenance within the provincial health care sector. Working with stakeholders, 3sHealth leverages economies of scale, best practice and shared expertise and works collaboratively to implement contracts under national, provincial and multi-provincial group purchasing processes.

Reporting to the Manager, Contracts, the Officer is expected to:

work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders;

assist Contract Specialist with competitive bidding processes where required;

administer and work within all phases of contract management including database/software systems updates and maintenance;

coordinate and communicate information to health regions and vendors;

provide ongoing administration of provincial contracts.

Required Qualifications

Certificate/ diploma in office administration
Experience
Three years' of relevant experience; or combination of equivanlent education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Effective time management and organizational skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and related software, including SharePoint
Ability to be creative in service delivery and problem-solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail
Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal/consultative relationships including conflict resolution
