Brewsters Brewing Company & Restaurant is hiring for Bartender/Manager
Full time/Part time shifts must be minimum 19yrs old and able to work days, evenings and weekends.
Description: To ensure the front of house operation & beer store operate smoothly & maximum productivity, efficiency, effectiveness are achieved. You will work under the direction of the RM, the GM of the location & Ownership to ensure the philosophy of Brewsters Brewing Company & Restaurant is maintained & that company policies, procedures & standards are met. You are a team leader. You must set an example to staff through a positive attitude, strong work ethic, friendliness to customers & staff.
Duties: Assist in all facets of the operation. Training & supervising bartenders, servers & beer store employees as a Shift Supervisor. Policy & procedure implantation & enforcement. Ordering. Marketing. Administration. Product Management. Facility & grounds control. Knowledge of/keep updated on food/beverage items (beer, liquor quality & preparation of cocktails.) POSI system. Appropriate safe food handling & follow alcohol awareness procedures. Complete the Serve it Right Course. Must be able to balance at end of each shift. Able to carry trays of beverage, plates of food, stand, walk, reach, bend & clean during shifts. Maintain/Assist with a clean/tidy bar, restaurant, pub area at all times. Must be able to effectively (ID) all guests who appear under 30 yrs or younger for alcohol purchases.
Must be "out front" on the floor or, working behind the bar approximately 90% of the time ensuring guests are informed of promotions, features & specials. Maintain open communication with kitchen staff, servers & bartenders. Assist with the expediting of food & beverages, Be able to recognize when help is needed by staff. Deal with customer & staff questions/concerns in a prompt & appropriate fashion. Menus & Special Feature Promotions - assist in development, implementation & promotion.
