Market Mall Auto Service is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team! You will have the opportunity to work on various makes and models of both domestic and import vehicles:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical problems
- Performing scheduled vehicle maintenance services
- Operating company and customer vehicles
The position is full time, Monday to Friday we are closed on statutory holidays. We offer a competitive hourly wage, negotiable based on experience, and an incentive program. You will be working in a safe and supportive work environment, with access to the latest diagnostic equipment. We also offer company paid training and employee discounts.
Requirements:
- Journeyperson Certification preferred but will consider an Apprentice
- Valid SK drivers license
- Conscientious work practices
- Basic hand and power tools
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to keep up to date with changing technology
- Detail oriented and pride in workmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and physically able to perform required work

- Complete reports to record problems and work performed
- Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills
- Test and adjust units to specifications
- Repair and replace mechanical units

- Diagnose faults and malfunctions
Automotive Service Technician Specific Skills
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
- Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
Own Tools/Equipment
- Tools
- Steel-toed safety boots
