Description

Facility: BridgePoint Centre
Job Description: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Director is a clinical professional who will use a combination of individualized guidance and program tools to lead and supervise the program. You will oversee the program development and continuity, as well as provide supervision and mentoring of the multidisciplinary team of professionals, paraprofessionals and peer support. You will be actively involved in group program facilitation (either as a support role or lead facilitator depending on the session), providing group and one-on-one support for participants, motivating and supporting participants while building confidence and promoting positive behaviors and tools to adopt healthier coping mechanisms.
We are looking to hire for attitude and a willingness to learn and embrace the BridgePoint Philosophy, as outlined on our website, which is the foundation of the success of our program.
Post-secondary education in social sciences, health, social work, or community development and/or related experience in community development, health promotion or program delivery and development. Preference will be given to those with a minimum of a Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling and current registration with the College of Psychologists, Saskatchewan Association of Social Work, or other professional regulatory body.
Demonstrated listening and information seeking skills that promote communication and lead to a co-operative approach to problem solving within an interdisciplinary team.
Comprehensive knowledge of psychotherapeutic and counselling skills. Qualifications and experience in areas such as eating disorders, trauma and mental wellness.
