Description

Cafeteria Duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting the Cafeteria Supervisor in the day-to-day operations.
Duties include:
-  Provide leadership, supervision, training, and delegation of duties to area clients on a daily basis.
-  Document and report relevant information to ensure that client personal plans and training goals is achieved.
-  Purchasing and picking up food and supplies as required.
-  Operation of kitchen equipment along with area clients and shared responsibility for client safety.
Assembly Duties and responsibilities:
Duties include:
-  Perform, and monitor work skills training for area clients on a daily basis.
-  Assist in job planning, provide supervision, training, and delegation of duties to area clients.
-  Perform production activities and operate area equipment, set up work stations, and maintain equipment as required.
-  Ensure procedures are followed to maintain product quality, production efficiency, and safe working conditions.
-  Perform area shipping and receiving duties and maintain related records.
Qualifications:
Education:
-  High School diploma, WHMIS, First Aid/CPR, valid drivers licence; Safe Food Handling certificate
Experience:
-  6 months or more experience in commercial cooking
Skills:
-  Knowledge of commercial cooking, catering, nutrition, equipment, and processes.  Cashier experience.
-  Effective interpersonal, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
-  Working knowledge of good manufacturing practices, and safe and efficient operation of equipment.
-  Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and organizational skills.  Ability to work with and provide training to people with disabilities.  Written and oral communication skills.
