The Elks of Canada do it by helping one child at a time through our national charity- the Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children.
Our members donate over $500,000 a year so that we can help kids and their families when they need it. Through our 250+ Lodges across Canada, we have donated over $9.3 million to provincial programs and $3.5 million to individual families through our personal assistance programs. Our focus has been primarily on supporting the needs of children with speech and hearing disabilities, but we have also supported kids with other challenges as well.
We're not going to sugar coat this - we need an absolute rockstar to be the new face of our charity, helping us tell our story and invite more people to be a part it.
We are looking for someone who can match their passion with our purpose - to bring their unique skillset to the table and help us take the next big leap in donor engagement, social media presence, sponsorship and brand development.
We are willing to bend over backward for the right candidate. Our needs at the moment are flexible, allowing us to provide you with a work schedule that is the same. We are looking for 20 hours a week to start, with the possibility of an increase if it makes sense for you and for the organization. Our starting wage scale is between $23.00 and $28.00, with benefits as well as other perks, like a day off for your birthday and an extra week off over the Christmas holidays.
