We currently have the opportunity for a full-time Power Engineer at our Martensville, SK Milling location.
Responsibilities:
Performs regular preventive maintenance and repairs on all steam process according to established schedules and procedures.
Troubleshoots, fabricates, repairs related to the steam process in accordance with established procedures.
Participate in the analysis of equipment issues, identification of solutions and /or determine of options for solutions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in relevant technologies, codes and/or workplace safety compliance.
Develop and maintain good communication practices in providing assistance to other Maintenance and Electrical team members when required.
Responds to after hours emergency calls on a rotational basis.
Repair of pneumatic systems.
Actively engages team in activities to meet targets and safety.
Work within established regulations and comply with all Company policies, procedures and well in safety and fire prevention regulations and practices.
Maintains good attendance and meet performance expectations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
4th Class Power Engineering Certificate valid in the province of Saskatchewan.
Ability to read and write English.
Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Strong basic mathematical skills and solid basic computer competency.
Proven analytical/problem solving skills.
Ability to read and work from blue prints.
Excellent written, documentation and verbal communication skills.
Self-directed, with the ability to successfully work independently, good interpersonal skills with ability to successfully work with diverse groups within a team environment.
Willing to work shifts and overtime including weekends.
Must be able to work independently and accountable for all hours.
Has excellent interpersonal skills and team work ability.
