We are looking for a Head Golf Professional

The Willows Golf & Country Club is looking for a Head Golf Professional to manage all aspects of the golf program at this nationally recognized golf club in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the General Manager to commence duties on or before January 29, 2018.

As a member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for the Golf Department to ensure the overall operation is managed efficiently while providing an exceptional member experience. You possess the ability to create and promote exciting programming for member golfers and guests while demonstrating superior knowledge of golf management. You are known for your leadership skills as you have been a great mentor to staff members and the go to person for the General Manager. You have strong business acumen and have experience with developing and maintaining budgets, inventory controls and maximizing revenues. Your interest with marketing and merchandising has driven the clubs sales year over year.

This exciting leadership role is key to the Club achieving our strategic objectives therefore, it is essential that you possess the following core competencies, attributes and experience:
PGA of Canada Class A Golf Professional;
Five (5) or more years of experience as a Head Golf Professional with experience in retail operations, budgeting, inventory control, tournaments and event management;
Preference will be given to individuals with post-secondary qualifications, ideally a University degree;
A leader who is self-motivated and a true team player;
Experience in the creation and delivery of outstanding programs and events for all ages;
Proficient with computers and have experience with the latest technologies used in Golf Operations; and
This position requires flexibility in working days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
