Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Accountable for overseeing the HACCP System at the plant. Responsible for the performance of defined food safety/quality assurance protocols in all processes in the facility in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plant subject matter expert in HACCP including HACCP Plan and Pre-requisite Program requirements
Leads the multidisciplinary HACCP team in monthly team meetings and required re-assessment activities
Ensures CCPs are monitored, documented and proper corrective actions are initiated where required in accordance with FSEP specifications
Ensures compliance with company standards and plant policies including sanitation and good manufacturing practices
Compiles statistical data, reports, summaries and audits
Ensures GMPs through continued monitoring, employee awareness, orientation and training
Provided technical guidance to production staff
Updates and files SOP Manual, HACCP documentation, and production records
Coordination of Compliance Verification System (CVS) and with the Plant and CFIA
