Value Tire is an independent tire and automotive business with locations in Saskatoon, Yorkton and Regina.  We have been proudly serving customers in Saskatchewan for over 30 years.

We are looking to fill the full-time, permanent position of Warehouse Operator. The position is located in our Saskatoon warehouse and will be of interest to those that have a strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
Maintain warehouse in a clean, secure and organized condition; light housekeeping as required
Assist with ordering, transferring and receipting tires on a regular basis as required
Greet customers, answer telephone, process incoming orders and pull and load tires to fill customer orders
Contact wholesale accounts to ensure smooth operation of the warehouse function
Responsible for processing and shipping warranty tires
Assist with processing car dealer invoices; responsible for shipping tires to out-of-town/rural dealers
Advise management of any problems/concerns with the facility or processes involved in the organization of the warehouse
Assist in unloading and organizing/shelving tires when shipments arrive; ensuring accuracy in record keeping
Assist in completing inventory counts
Monitor office supplies and notify office staff when items are needed
Follow all Occupational Health and Safety procedures
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Ability to work independently and be self motivated
Punctuality, an excellent work ethic and a positive attitude
Excellent attention to detail
Great communication and customer service skills
Able to safely operator an order picker in a responsible manner using the safety harness provided at all times
Prior shipping/receiving/warehouse experience is an asset
Valid Drivers License
Order Picker License is an asset
