Reporting to the Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist, this position is responsible for the following duties:
Reception Responsibilities:
-Creating a professional and friendly first point of contact
-Answering, screening and directing telephone calls
-Processing incoming and outgoing mail and couriers daily
-Providing general administrative and clerical support
-Completing travel arrangements and being the point of contact for the recruitment website and AMEX travel for mine site employees, La Ronge and Human Resources employees
-Completing SAP time entry for some departments and timesheet checks for all departments
-Scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings and any associated catering
-Complies with all AREVA health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures.
Payroll Assistance:
-Biweekly payroll for hourly paid employees and off cycle pay as required
-Responding to employee queries in regards to pay
-Reviewing and ensuring accuracy of payroll related ledger postings
-Managing accuracy of time entry and executing relevant reports
-Prepare and file Records of Employment within required deadlines
-Providing relief for the administrator of monthly payroll for salaried employees
Human Resources Department Assistance:
-Ensuring knowledge of staff movements in and outside of the organization through the monthly organizational change memo
-Supporting orientation initiatives by organizing the employee orientation prior to their arrival, photographing employees and administering SharePoint ARC Team contact and photo directory
-Providing training assistance through training entry in S2Web, training logistics, training reporting
-Recruiting assistance for postings, candidate screening and interview planning
-Leading and supporting special projects such as Long Service Awards, Christmas Parties and other projects as requested
