SARCAN Recycling is currently accepting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant located at our Saskatoon Head Office.

SARC is a non-profit association representing over 90 community-based organizations that provide developmental, residential, employment and other supports/services to thousands of individuals across Saskatchewan. SARCAN Recycling is the recycling division of SARC, which strives to protect the environment, provide employment for people of all abilities, and contribute to the economic development of our province.

Job Description:
- Provides administrative support to the SARCAN Recycling Division through fielding customer inquiries, container registrations, minute taking, and general office duties
- Assists in the maintenance and distribution of various reports, databases, and promotional materials
- Assists with SARCAN events/training and attends training/workshops as required
- Ensures correspondence and/or administrative tasks of a sensitive nature are carried out in accordance with SARCAN standards, policies and procedures
- Provides back up for front office administrative support positions and provides support to other departments as necessary

The successful candidate will have a post-secondary administrative assistant diploma and experience working in an office environment. A combination of education and experience may be considered. The successful candidate requires a satisfactory criminal record check.

If you are interested in this position, you must possess excellent organization and communication skills. Good judgment, adaptability, and willingness are all critical qualities to your success in this role in a busy office. You have strong attention to detail and appreciate the importance of formatting, editing and saving the planet. You should possess strong MS Office Suite skills, including Microsoft Access.
