Description

Duties include:  
-    Performing workplace assessments as necessary to obtain details about the work environment, specific tasks, and physical demands
-    Developing, implementing, adapting, and monitoring individualized training plans
-    Monitoring and documenting the progress and performance of clients who are employed or on placements by meeting with clients and the employer
-    Assisting with identifying appropriate work placements or job opportunities that match a client's interests and skills
-    Scheduling job coach support as needed including giving direction to Mentors and supervising any Mentor interventions in the workplace
-    Working with employers to build natural support systems for clients within the workplace and to identify job accommodations or modifications that coud enhance client success
-    Providing clients with the necessary skills and strategies to become more independent and successful employees
Qualifications:
Education:
-    Bachelors Degree in Human Services, Rehabilitation, or related discipline
Experience:
-    Three to five years of related work experience
-    Experience working with individuals with disabilities would be considered an asset
Skills:
-    Knowledge and understanding of the issues pertaining to education, training, and employment of people with disabilities.
-       Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with participants, employers, referral agents, colleagues, and public
-    Effective interpersonal, communication, organizational, problem-solving and computer skills
-    Knowledge of community resources and the local labour market
-    Access to a personal vehicle (properly plated and insured) and a valid driver's license
The final candidates are required to provide satisfactory police record checks.
Successful candidates are recommended to have an Auto Pak with at least 1 million dollars in liability insurance.
