The Service Manager is a customer service specialist who maintains a smooth operating and high performing Service Department by supporting and guiding staff while simultaneously ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction is achieved. Job Duties:
* Manage the day to day operations of the Service Department
* Work closely with the Store Manager and Corporate Service Manager to ensure company standards and values are being achieved
* Manage, mentor and guide a team of dedicated technicians and support staff
* Identify and support growth areas within the department
* Ensure that the highest level of customer satisfaction is consistently being achieved
* Become an expert in all aspects of the Service Department
* Maintain a strong professional relationship with all departments within the dealership
* Continuously strive for improvement in current processes and procedures
Skills and Abilities:
* Must have superior communication & customer service skills
* Ability to negotiate customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution
* Experience scheduling and planning projects
* Advanced leadership skills
* Excellent computer, organizational and follow-up skills
Qualifications and Experience:
* High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or college degree an asset
* Previous managerial experience
* Experience in a dealership or retail establishment
* Previous Service Management experience an asset
* Previous Parts or Service experience an asset
* Agricultural background an asset
