Description

Edge Transportation Services ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a Corporate Controller at their Saskatoon, SK location.

Responsibilities
- Provide direction relating to accounting and finance matters for Finance and Administrative staff
- Maintain and develop reports on various costs and revenues in order to identify trends, assess information, generate recommendations and communicate meaningful information to management
- Identify and analyze variances in monthly operating statements including variances between periods and those between projected and actual financial results
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements

Qualifications
- Professional Accounting Designation (CA or CMA)
- 3-5 years experience in a corporate environment
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, information technology and corporate reporting requirements
- Extensive knowledge of computer software programs including accounting packages and PC based spreadsheet/word processing packages in a windows environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills and understanding of software
