Description

Are you a natural problem solver with experience in wired and wireless control or communication installations? Do you enjoy connecting customers with the right solutions and delivering amazing customer experiences?  Mackay Equipment Sales Ltd. is currently accepting applications for an Environment Control Systems person. The person in this position is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and repair of a variety of control and/or communication systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service and communications skills, with a natural ability to explain technical information to uninformed consumers. They will be detail orientated with strong problem solving ability and must be able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities and mechanical inclination.  An asset considered would be knowledge in poultry and intensive livestock production but not required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Delivering great customer service and creating amazing customer experiences. Must be courteous and professional at all times and be neat in appearance. Fulfill scheduled customer appointments in a timely fashion. Install, troubleshoot and repair of a variety of control/production systems for rural Western Canadian clients. Running and fishing of control/communication wires.  Keep informed of new products and developments. Identify and resolve client concerns. Take phone calls from clients and customers. Training/job shadowing new employees. Qualifications: Ambitious and motivated toward career development. Experience with wired and wireless control/communication system installation. Have a valid driver's license. Must be flexible and willing to travel to rural customer locations in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba.
