Description

Entry-level, part-time position (21 hours/week). Reporting to Director Programs & Services, assists in development and implementation of programming, specifically in northern Saskatchewan. The successful incumbent must complete criminal background check as a condition of hire.

Primary responsibilities:
-Responds to inquiries then provides information and support. Captures interactions through case management.
-Strategic lead for SK: Friendly Visiting Program.
-Assists with implementing educational programs (e.g. MS Connects).
-Public education through presentations.
-Community engagement.
-Hospital and long-term care visits, as needed.
-Assists with revenue generation and budget management for the department.

Qualifications:
-Computer proficiency with Microsoft products. Experience with Customer Relations Management systems would be asset.
-Group facilitation experience an asset.
-Experience with public speaking/presentations is required.
-Event & volunteer management experience is preferred; and, fundraising experience would be an asset.
-A valid drivers license is required.
-Excellent oral and written communication, in English.
-Strong listening and proven time management skills.
-Desire for continuing education and professional development.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Considerations: office setting with community meetings and visits. Ability and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays away from Saskatoon; with occasional evening/weekend work.
