Description

Express Employment Professionals is a Staffing & Searching company and we are currently seeking experienced Administrative Professionals for current & upcoming opportunities.    We are looking to fill both part-time and full-time positions on a short-term and long-term basis.

The Administrative Assistant role works independently, with limited to no supervision, directly reporting to the Office Manager. The Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact both in person and over the phone. The candidate will be responsible for filing, handling, and distributing mail, couriers, creating letters and memos, as well as other office-related tasks, like data-entry, typing, and accounts receivable & payable, invoicing, scheduling, payroll, and other duties as required.  Preference will be given to individuals with experience in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks, and Simply Accounting. This position calls for a highly organized, and customer-service minded individual, working internally with management, and other office staff.  


What we look for:

Two or more years of experience in an Administrative role
Exceptional Customer Service
Previous experience in a construction setting would be an asset
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Other Computer experience including Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, PowerPoint etc.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Type 30+ words per minute
Self-motivated with efficient problem solving skills
Accounts Receivable/Payable experience preferred
Strong Customer Service Skills Required
Any additional skill sets such as inside/outside sales would also be a bonus
