Description

Express Employment Profess searching for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk for one of our Regina clients. Must be a self-motivated, problem solving individual who is able to work well within a small team.  The ideal candidate is highly organized and customer-service minded. This role works internally with management and other office staff on a daily and weekly basis. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must. Candidates must be hard working with high expectations on attendance and punctuality.
Job Description
    Maintain accounting records utilizing Yardi and other Software programs
    Compile and analyze reconciling statements and transactions.
    Pay invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment.
    Verify transaction information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
    Collect revenue; reminding delinquent accounts; notifying customers of insufficient payments.
    Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
    Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.

Requirements:
    Candidates must have excellent English communication skills; both oral and written
    Experience with Yardi, Sage50, QuickBooks or other accounting software
    Experience with  Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet applications are required and will be tested at time of interview

This is a Temp-Perm opportunity.
