Description

VJ Management is looking for a Sports Bar & Restaurant Manager for one of our Saskatoon locations. In this position the individual will essentially co-ordinate, supervise the operations of the Bar and Restaurant while driving performance and reporting results.

Job Description:
Primary responsibilities in this position are as follows:
    Ensure the highest quality of guest experience is delivered to confirm a competitive advantage.
    Attract, develop and retain an engaged, high performing work force.
    Scheduling and timesheet review
    Drive performance and work collaboratively with Owners on achieving business goals.
    Deliver profit center profitability
    Maintain the highest level of accountability for oneself and those on the team. Consistently coaches staff, and is able to recognize success as well as managing poor performance.
    Responsible for accuracy, accountability and timeliness of sales reporting
    Cost management
    Inventory management
    Actively ensures service levels meet/ exceed our guests needs and the Company's expectations.
    Maintains kitchen oversight and Food Line Check to constantly ensure established standards are being met and regulation adhered to.
Job Requirements:
    1  2 years of experience in a senior position in the Restaurant / Bar environment.
    Possesses excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication and time management skills.
    Possess strong business acumen to deliver best in class financial returns.
    Experience managing staff
    FOH/BOH knowledge
    Demonstrated wine and liquor knowledge.
    Must be an energetic individual, with multitasking and communication skills, and an understanding of dining etiquette.
    Must possess knowledge of POS, MS Office applications
    Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
