Our client has an immediate full-time permanent opportunity available for a Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for attaining and exceeding monthly and annual management budget sales objectives
-Management and mentoring of the current sales team located throughout North America
-Ensure initiatives are in place to maintain a healthy backlog of approved orders to attain current and future month sales objectives.
-Monitor inventory availability, credit approvals, sales shipments to ensure monthly results are consistently met.
- Manage and motivate advertising and promotion activities.
-Recommend and present new program and marketing initiatives on a continuous basis to maximize brand awareness, promote seasonal needs, feature product mix and competitive advantages
-- Maintain a strong interaction with customers particularly within the existing dealer network.
-Ensure dealer contact logs are maintained by the sales team to preserve historical relationship data and sales results.
-Successfully grow the dealer network in areas needing attention and improvement.
Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree or diploma in marketing, business, engineering, management etc.
-Sales experience in the agricultural, light construction, and outdoor power equipment industries is required.
-Strong management experience increasing sales through dealer (B2B) channels.
