Reporting to the Building Materials Manager, the Floor Covering Manager will provide a high level of service and sales, will be responsible for margin, expenses, inventory control, merchandising and marketing. They will provide leadership and scheduling of staff, keep up-to-date on the selection of the variety of floors along with benefits and warranties provided by each, ensure claims, invoices and all other paper work is completed. They will prepare annual budget, and be responsible for adherence and enforcement of Policies and procedures of Pioneer Co-op.
The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years sales experience with the ability to work with homeowners and contractors to select flooring that compliments their needs, follow up on leads to maximize sales and meet goal objectives. Prior flooring industry experience or Retail Home Centre background an asset. Computer skills required.
