Description

At S3 Manufacturing, the Senior Accountant / Controller leads financial operations and ensures that administrative information and systems are in keeping with corporate objectives. The successful candidate will be a values-driven, results focused individual capable of producing financial results and successfully coaching and overseeing administrative employees.

Job Overview:
    Ensures Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Flow and Payroll actions are managed in a precise and timely manner.
    Prepares month-end & year-end financial statements in a precise and timely manner with minimal supervision.
    Provides applicable reports and recommendations for the management team.
    Audits financial systems on a regular basis.
    Monitors key performance indicators.
    Co-ordinates with other S3 business units to ensure consistency and smooth operations.
Requirements:
    3-5 years previous accounting experience.
    Relative education (i.e.: degree, designation or diploma in accounting discipline).
    Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles specific to manufacturing.(Including Manufacturing Cost Accounting philosophies)
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with high levels skills in Word, Excel and Outlook. QuickBooks Enterprise working knowledge an asset.
    Initiative in creative problem solving.
    Strong business sense
    The ability to be self-motivated and self-teach
    Ability to work well with others in a team spirit.
