The Regina Open Door Society (RODS) is a non-profit organization that provides settlement and integration services to refugees and immigrants in Regina. RODS is committed to meeting the needs of newcomers by offering programs and services that enable them to achieve their goals and participate fully in the larger community.

RODS is now seeking a qualified individual to staff the permanent full time position of KidsFirst Home Visitor.

Position Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide ongoing intensive supportive services mainly through home visits to assigned immigrant and refugee families. Please visit our Careers portal to view a detailed job description.

Required Qualifications/Education
    
This position requires completion of a relevant secondary education certificate/diploma in Child Development, Human Services and/or a minimum of 2 years related experience is preferred. Also, the successful applicant will be required to have completed a valid Class 5-Novice 2 drivers license, access to an insured vehicle and provide a clean Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check. Prior KidsFirst training (i.e. Growing Great Kids) and ability to speak other languages is an asset.

Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with every second Monday or Friday off. However, this position will be required to work outside of regular working hours when needed. Starting salary for this position is $37,263.33 annually ($21.23/hour).
