Description

The Manager of Programs is accountable for all aspects of program development, coordination and management for indoor and outdoor programming, tours, events and activities, budgetary responsibility including revenue opportunities and procurement of supplies for programming and activities.  He/she provides supervision to up to 8 direct reports and therefore this person requires strong people management skills.  The incumbent is accountable for providing leadership and management in all program and client related areas including the following:
    Client Focus and Service-managing a welcoming and exceptional client experience.
    Budgetary Responsibility strong administrative skills, annual work plans,  revenue targets, asset management and procurement.
    Grants and Proposals- writing new programs, grants, revenue opportunities, managing special projects.
    People Management ensures professional delivery of programs and services.  Hiring, training, managing staff.
    Program Development: oversee all programs and activities.
    Programs Management: oversee curriculum development and implementation.
    Partnership Management: develop strong working relationships with community and grant partners.

Required qualifications and experience:
A post-secondary education in program development (Education) with senior leadership and strong administrative skills including staff supervision is required.
