Description

We are a well-established manufacturer of stair and rail products with over 25 years of operation in the Regina and surrounding area.
We are looking to hire a new Shipper/Receiver. Our hours of operation are Monday  Friday, 7:00 am  5:00 pm. The position requires good communication and leadership skills with the ability to work independently.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of order shipment and receiving, stock inventory and minor woodworking as needed. These duties include, but are not limited to:
-    Managing customer invoices, outgoing orders and incoming returns
-    Oversee custom work orders, ensure timelines are met
-    Prioritizing work orders and directing shop personnel
-    Maintaining shelf stock and complete regular inventory checks
-    Shop cleanliness, maintain a clean and safe work environment
-    Some office work as needed
-    Other tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications we would like to see are:
-    Maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally
-    Exceptional customer service
-    Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
-    Proficient knowledge of the English language
-    Physically able to lift and move heavy objects and work on feet for long periods of time

Previous experience in a Shipping/Receiving position and background knowledge in woodworking is considered a tremendous asset, but not a requirement as we will happily train the right candidate. You will need to bring a fun, hardworking attitude and steel toed shoes to the table. Some woodworking may be involved when necessary. Flexible scheduling is offered and benefits are available after 6 months.
